Editor – During the 19th century India gave birth to many heroes, many of whom are unknown or as not as popular as others. Some of them played an important part in India’s freedom movement whilst others undertook social reform. The book Unsung Heroes seeks to provide you with insights into the lives of and contributions made by such great leaders.
Volume 2 features Dadabhai Naoroji, Gopal Krishna Gokhale, Sarojini Naidu, Ashfaqullah Khan etc. Volume 1 features Mahatma Jotirao Phule, Lal Bahadur Shastri (former Indian Prime Minister), Sarojini Naidu, Bal Gangadhar Kher, Maulana Azad and Captain Lakshmi.
