1. The State Museum is close to the Guwahati High Court. It is spread over two floors and showcases a wide range of artefacts, we present a few. Entrance first floor. Right is Garuda. Extreme left in purple is Mask of Ravana 20th century A.D. Next is Manikuta after which area covered by tube-light is Prayer Hall. In front is a 19th century brass tub.
2. At entrance board tells you village life of Assam. The Assamese villages I saw, found them to be very clean. Generally cleanliness levels much higher than elsewhere.
