1. Morning Assembly. Was in January 2020 winters so hazy. The school is being run under the guidance of the Ramakrishna Mission since 1969. It started with M.P. State Board of Education, moved on to CBSE later.

2. Swamiji’s thoughts continue to inspire even 100 years later. We share albums of RKVM (CBSE started 1983) and RKVM (MPSB started 1969).

18. Well-designed Atal Tinkering Lab. “The tinkering lab is a workspace where young minds can give shape to their ideas through hands-on do-it-yourself mode and learn innovation skills. The vision is to cultivate 1 Million children in India as Neoteric Innovators.”

24. School part of the RKM area. This is the temple. School grows lots of veggies in area that you see and around.

25. Close to the school is an area where another RKM school is. Part of it is like a forest. Swamiji bust there.

31. Computer room. RVM too has an impressive computer room where children are taught the basics.

34. RKM School Sharada Balgram has hostel students. A canteen gives them free food. See them enjoying meals.

37. Durbar Hall, Jai Vilas Palace Gwalior. Each Belgian Chandelier weighs 3500 kgs and has 250 bulbs. It is said that 10 elephants stood on the terrace of the durbar hall to check if the ceiling could take the load. Must see Palace Museum.

38. A building outside the school area but inside the complex runs various activities. This is Roshni. These products are made by differently abled children. Very good. ROSHNI (Rehabilitation Opportunities, Services and Health for the Neurologically Impaired) was founded in 1998 as a project of the Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Gwalior.

40. This is called Bejataal. Now days used for musical programs.

41. Evening there are music classes. Facility is also open to outsiders and non-students. Lady playing the harmonium is head of department. Teaching Light Music-Sugam Sangeet.

52. Next 4 pics are Yoga. This is Pyramid pose. This pose is where you see the results of consistent practice.

53. U see Purna Bhujangasana (full cobra pose). This asana is called Bhujangasana because in this your body is raised like that of a snake. Your spine needs good flexibility to do this asana. Bhujangasana is a simpler version of Purna Bhujangasana.

58. Datia Palace is about 1.5 hour’s drive from Gwalior. It is 7 storeys. Worth a visit.

59. Cenotaphs Orchha. 15 kms from Jhansi, say 2.5 hours from Gwalior it is a must visit.

60. Chausath Yogini Mandir Morena is about 35 kms from Gwalior.

61. Bateswar Temples Morena were reconstructed. Morena is a must visit.
