Visited Nagaland for the Hornbill Festival 2014. Saw the war cemetry in Kohima. It is here that British and Indian soldiers resisted the Japanese in 1944.
Area is well maintained. Has a garden across various levels as you can see. Black color stone have names of soldiers on them.

View of Kohima from where we stayed. Kohima is hilly all the way and is spread over numerous hills. It is very crowded, lots of cars and poorly maintained roads.
The young soldier died at 23.
