International Yoga Day Indonesia Pre event

1. Album has pictures of programs (pre-events) at Jakarta, Jogjakarta and Bali organised by Anand Ashram Foundation Indonesia & supported by the Embassy of India, Jakarta & JNICC. You see Shri Makrand Shukla, Director of Jawaharlal Nehru Indian Cultural Centre (JNICC) Jakarta, giving an opening remark in meditation hall of One Earth Meditation Retreat Centre.

2. Nearly 250 participants from Jakarta, Sentul, Bogor and Ciawi attended the first pre-event of International Day of Yoga 2018, held at One Earth Meditation Retreat Ciawi on April 28, 2018.

3. Yoga Yes ... Yes to the four folds of Yoga was a theme of the series of pre-event Yoga Workshops held by Anand Ashram Foundation in Jakarta (28 April 2018), Jogjakarta (5 May 2018) and Ubud-Bali (16 June 2018) in celebration of the 4th International Day of Yoga in Indonesia.

4. All participants, including youth and children, enthusiastically participated in the Yoga session for health and happiness. Holistic Yoga for Peace Love and Harmony have been facilitated in Ashram and Centres under auspices of Anand Ashram Foundation since 1991.

5. Yoga is not just about Asanas (Raja Yoga). There is Karma Yoga, Jnana Yoga and Bhakti Yoga too. They are the four folds of Yoga as written in the sacred Bhagavad Gita. After the session of Yoga Asana, participants experienced Bhakti Yoga in World Culture Celebration of Samskriti Sindhu i.e. what you see.

7. Next program was at Jogjakarta. You see, Deputy Chief of Mission, Shri Prakash Gupta of the Indian Embassy addressing the participants of pre-event of International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2018 in Jogjakarta City Hall`s Front Yard on May 5, 2018. He was pleasantly surprised with the number of participants in this pre-event held by Anand Ashram Chapter Jogjakarta.

8. Nearly 500 participants attended the pre-event. The event was also supported by the Jogjakarta City Government. www.akcjoglosemar.org

10. Participants in this pre-event came from different backgrounds i.e. religion and social status hence was inclusive. Their togetherness is a reflection of the spirit and vision of Anand Ashram Foundation. www.anandashram.asia

11.Lastly we move on to the scenic island of Bali. More than 150 participated in the grand finale of the series of pre-events of International Day of Yoga 2018. It was held on June 16 at Anand Ashram Ubud. Anand Ashram Foundation in collaboration with 10th International Bali Meditators` Festival www.balimeditates.com supported by Embassy of India in Jakarta and JNICC presented this event.

13. Participants from different countries, including tourists, enthusiastically took part in the program.

14. Participants also came from nearby cities as Denpasar Bali.

15. Shri Sunil Babu, Consulate General of India in Bali, spoke to participants.

16. As part of the Jnana Yoga session, Guruji Anand Krishna spoke about life. You see participants were engrossed.
