Bhimashankar Jyotirling is a four to five hour drive from Mumbai. In the monsoons one can trek by taking a local train to Karjat or thereabouts and then starting the trek. Am told it is very beautiful. We drove from Mumbai i.e. expressway till Dehu road, then took a left to Chakan and so on. You see entrance to the temple complex.

There is a huge Ghanta (bell) i.e. outside the temple, about 250 years old.
