This article starts by explaining the innate urge for integrating our personality, minding the mind because the present day world has become more obsessed with the external and materialistic aspects of life.

Next it explains the concept of Yoga and how it can help us in our day to day life. The best part of the Yogic way is that its teachings are universal. The aim is harmony within the individual when the body, mind, and soul are integrated.

While Semitic religions view the human being as a fallen angel, who has to get back to heaven by being true to God, the Oriental religions have held that the human can raise itself to the divine by controlling nature, external and internal.

Yoga can be defined as the method that leads to channelling the human faculties to higher purposes and thereby achieving a state of calm and rest that is associated with meditativeness.

Language is simple and easy to understand.
