There are a variety of crystals and gems
that have been used over the years to produce wellness of all kinds. And before
that, they were simply admired for their gorgeous features and intricate
workings. When working through your yoga session or quite time, crystals can
also be used to kickstart all the energy you will want to have before you even
begin.
Of course, you do not have to use any of the following crystals to have a successful session or practice. But, if you are interested, read below for 7 crystals that you will immediately want to have as your “go to”.
1.
Amethyst
We will begin with one of my all-time favorites- Amethyst. This beautiful crystal is most recognized for enhancing feelings of centeredness and calmness within yourself. When we look around today’s world, all we seem to notice is chaos, craziness, and uncertainty. This purple crystal can be the perfect way to minimize that inner turmoil, even if the outside is crazy.
2.
Rose Quartz
Do you ever look in the mirror and wish
you could love yourself more? You are not alone in that wish! There are many
people who struggle with those feelings, and if you do as well, rose quartz is
your answer. When used, it can increase positive feelings about others and,
more importantly, yourself. Your confidence will rise and at the end of your
session, you will have never felt more kindness for yourself.
3.
Quartz
Quartz, in and of itself, is a very
interesting item to have around because it comes in a variety of colors and
kinds. And when you gather all the colors together that each have different
capabilities, the opportunities for healing are endless. Clear Quartz can
assist you in opening your mind and abilities, along with helping you heal from
various troubles (on the inside and out).
4.
Black Tourmaline
In all transparency, I did not know what
this crystal was all about until I did some research. As it turns out, anyone
who was not using black tourmaline in yoga or meditation before probably
regrets not doing so before the COVID pandemic began. Why, you may ask? This is
because the crystal is primarily used as a weapon of protection and
safeguarding. It diverts any bad energy/vibes/juju from you, and everyone needs
that right now.
5.
Moonstone
Enchanting, elegant, and beautiful. These are only a few of the words that automatically come to mind when thinking about the moonstone crystal. While ranging in a few shades and colors, the moonstone is all about connecting with your inner self and improving what is already inside of you. Using these can help you connect with your “softer” side, produces better “gut feelings” about situations.
6.
Fluorite
Fluorite is certainly one to remember.
Like other crystals previously mentioned above, fluorite can help you stay
calm, cool, and collected, during even the most difficult of times. Sometimes
our minds can get so messy and begin imagining scenarios and situations that
will only make us panic more. Fluorite can help combat those troublesome thoughts
and turn them into serene ones.
7.
Citrine
Who does not want to be rich, productive,
and prosperous? No one. Therefore, if you are lacking in the success
department, the citrine crystal is what you are looking for. When this is added
to your yoga practice or meditation session, there is a much higher possibility
and chance of feeling productive, profitable, and successful. This crystal will
be my next purchase!
Alone, even the simple act of yoga,
meditation, or however you chose to reflect, can be peaceful and beneficial in
a variety of different ways. And when you add in any kind of crystal, it can
make the time even more powerful and productive.
It is important to remember that there are
a variety of ways that crystals and other gemstones can be used, and if you are
unsure of how to use them, millions of tutorials and examples are only a click
away. It is also important to note that at the end of the day, you need to use
what is best for you, and what leaves you feeling the most satisfied at the end
of your practice or session.
